Yeah, he was out hustling the Knicks when he was there. Good D and you could see his potential out there.

I also believe 3 of the 4 blocks were on Melo.

I'm very happy for him that he has a contract and that he can provide for his mom and brother. I've always been clear about that. While he's ready to deposit an nba paycheck he's not ready for the nba as a player. That should be completely obvious.

He's starting because Hedo is hurt and has only played one game this year.
Based on PER there are others who have started more games than him with a lower PER.
So thats that.

Should we not being looking at potential, not immediate production. IMO, Harkless is on his way to a solid career. Good character, skills, patience and dedication to get better will serve him well.

His numbers are meaningless, his contribution on the court and development is what matters, it is good that he is in the rotation and getting some starts. What will separate Moe from others is his personality. He is all business and will work at his game rather than enjoy the life of an NBA player. He got himself into a good situation in Orlando so he didn't end up in D League on a better team.

And to be honest many thought Orlando would be the worst team in the East.  They have not played bad at all.

If the Knicks a player in the first round, and that guy started and put up less than 4 points and 4 boards per game, would anyone in their right mind say he's productive? I have a lot of respect for Moe, and I think he made an honorable decision for his family. I would have done the same had I been in his shoes. That said, he's not ready for this. He belongs in the D League, where he can get better, at everything.
