Nah, cause Charleston wudnt even D1 til the 90s. But when they went D1, he tore it up but was getting older and was established down there and all. Still, a hella coach and hella nice man.

Nice little preview of tonight's game in the Kansas City Star.  Especially like the last line of the article.

QUICK TURNAROUND: St. John's headed straight to the airport after its season-opening 77-74 win over Detroit on Tuesday at Carnesecca Arena. The come-from-behind victory over a Titans team expected to contend for an NCAA tournament bid was impressive. But can this young Red Storm team refocus quickly and be ready for another tough mid-major squad? It's an early test, to be sure -- especially considering it's on Charleston's home floor.

I think this is a closer game than many expect.   They beat Clemson and Tennessee last year, and played Louisville a lot closer than we did.  Looks like most of their rotation, minus a starting guard (albeit their leading scorer) returns.   And it's on their court.

Still, the scouting reports say they shoot very few 3's, which is our Achilles, and don't rebound particularly well either.   I think we win, but it's another close one.   The offense just isn't good enough to bury teams yet.
72-66 SJU

Colorado beat Dayton 67-57

Baylor losing to BC. Just after halftime by 3 until an 8-0 run in the last 30 secs.  Now Baylor by 5 :)

Quick lead for us at the first TV timeout. Jakarr and Christion with two nice drives. I think our forwards will be able to run around theirs as the game goes on.

Also amir with a great drive and finish going right and finishing with his right!

Why is the camera angle so high?

Look good early on.  Balanced scoring so far
