USF is averaging an impressive 41 rebounds a game, and 6'7 F Cole Dickerson is averaging around 15 pts and 15 rebs per game.  Would be nice to see Sampson & co. win the rebound battle tonight, as it could be the difference in the game.

SF is 8th in the country in total reb %.  st johns is 246.  vegas might make SF the odds on favorite because of the gap (and being home)

I wouldn't be shocked if we're the underdogs going in.  A win at SF would be a good measuring stick for our team, especially if SF goes on to make noise in the WCC.

Not sure we'll be underdogs, but this is another team that is no pushover cupcake.  We are on the road and they have a winning record, and some decent numbers they put up.  Earning road wins lIke this are never easy.  Need to be ready to play full 40.

I'd just like to voice how excited I am that St. john's is playing in my new adopted hometown on Tues.  The alumni office has been great!  I'm not an alum but my step-father is and they still allowed me to purchase tickets through the alumni office for only $25 which includes admission to the pre-game reception with Lav, Keady, and Mullin all speaking.  Plus drinks and heavy appetizers.

I'll probably only make the tail end of the reception but would love to gather with some St. Johns fans after the game at a bar nearby in the Inner Richmond.  I'll chat up some folks at the game but I'm thinking we go to Buckshot at 3848 Geary Blvd (between 3rd Ave & 2nd Ave.)

For those making the trip - safe travels and look forward to rooting with you!

The school has always been great to me with that.  I'm not an alum (both parents are) and when I lived in the southeast they were always accommodating with getting me tickets in the SJU section.

That is first date is eligible.  We don't have game until later that week.  Misses St. Francis game by a day

I'm wrong.  We're dogs.  Not a good sign.

Not sure if people know this - but tonight's game is on SNY.

The schedule had been unclear about that.

A win tonight will be big for the team.  Any predicitions?

My guess:

SJU - 74
USF - 66

I think the guys are more focused being away from home actually.   We do a good job tonight, but not a blowout.

SJU 78
SF 68

don't know who will win but we will probably be out rebounded and their kid averaging 15 will probably get over 20.
