getting a hand in their face might help....

So Obekpa defending a guard at the 3 pt line is our preferred defensive scheme.  Also, why is no one contesting the jumpers.  We are up on the shooter but just stand there and let the get the shot off uncontested.

This daring other teams to make threes has to stop. Maybe they need to lose one of these in embarrassing fashion to wake them up.

23 points at the half.  If there was such a thing as negative ball movement on offense, you saw that.  Horrendous.

And then on the last possession you wait until 5 seconds left to begin the play.  The coaching in this game has been laughable.

Holy crap.  They look like they've never been coached.  4 guys collapse on the guy driving to the basket and they give up a wide open 3.

So St. John's crushed South Carolina and they're now losing by 12 to a team that lost to South Carolina....STATE.  Are you kidding me?

They should press them, full court press.  It's ridiculous that they're not.  Make NJIT beat you on the interior...and here's the cool part about that.  They can't.  Sooooo why are you letting them take open 3s.  Bad strategy from Lavin, really bad.

Lavin needs to shake it up somehow, these guys thought just by showing up to the court they would win.  Sorry guys, beating some sorry squads by a lot doesn't make you world beaters, that's a piss poor attitude.

Well I'm hoping the team that rebounded against Detroit shows up now.  Either way, young team or not, the effort level is unacceptable.

Agree here.  Execution at both ends is horrible.  Team looks like they rolled out of bed.  Wouldn't mind Lavin usin his matchup zone a bit though. Our man-d got shredded first half.  We are always chasing today.  Njit is solid.  We'll lose this one unless we really ratchet up in the second.

NJIT almost beat Providence so if you take this kind of effort they'll beat you.  They've improved.

 Sometimes young players let some success go to their heads.. Wake up call time now.
