Agree with comments about Marco having nice form but you need to watch him when he does not have the ball.  no movement like Mullin to free himself up.  Also does not appear to be able to create.  The team does not presently have a true point guard who can suck in a defense and dish to the open wing.  Hopefully we will see this come the 21st.  Also I wonder if Sanchez and he would be a comfortable pairing working together in an inside/outside game with their experience together.  it would be great to get him going as it would open things up for Dangelo as defenses are overloading on him right now.

To add I said it somewhere I'll say it again.  Watch our offense.  Our players look allergic to the box.  They stand all around the perimeter. Its not wonder we can't grab an offensive rebound.

We haven't had player or ball movement since everyone's favorite coach Jarvis' first year. I know that team was unselfish and most of the credit should go to them, but still....

It's true.   And we move the ball from point to point only, one pass at a time.   We never string together two or three passes to find the open man.
It's almost always...pass... wait, look around, take a dribble,... pass in the other direction.
And I expected that's a result of playing so many freshmen and sophomores that they can't sense immediately where the ball should go. 
But when we see that, strings of 2 or 3 passes to find the open man... then I'll know the offense is starting to click.

10-11 season had good ball movement during big east play. A lot of that could be credited to our forwards (dj, brownlee) ability to make plays without having to score.

You guys are crazy. 

I much prefer playing both of the running, jumping, dunking, defending, outside shot challenged wings to the slow, french, Lyson/Luyk clone every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

mullin was one of a kind.  it's no crime to be out of his league.  marco is open frequently (the few minutes he's in the game)  unfortunately, he's playing with shoot first teammates.  maybe branch will notice him.

This is not going to be popular considering the love affair some on the board have with the two, but to me Pointer & Garrett are sort of redundant. I think you pick one and give him the minutes and play the other less. I don't see how you can have two 6-6 / 6-5 guys who have absolutely no jumper or really any offensive game getting big minutes.

I like both and see improvement in their games but do see your point as neither has demonstrated ability to score...and it is difficult to have two (or more) players, with limited offensive games, on the floor at the same time...i was actually expecting Amir's outside shot to improve as he has decent mechanics...

Amir has a solid shot.  He spends a lot of time battling on the offensive glass because nobody else does.  I expect to see him take some more jumpers and get it going to the hoop.  Amir and Pointer both do things that create opportunities and they both need to see solid minutes.

Agree...I like both...just dont see that they should be on the court at same time, for extended period of time, until at least one can hit an outside shot or score consistently...

Good shooter, scorer and rebounder.  Large athletic guard.  Played here in the late 60's.  Drafted by Phoenis Suns but played 3 years for the Nets.  Probably under Lou.

Was in my father's class in grade school.
