Melvin Tyler Jones Rest In Peace
« on: December 10, 2012, 10:04:37 AM »
I just found out that former St. John's Men's Basketball player Melvin Tyler Jones (he went by his middle name) passed away early last month.  Tyler played two seasons here before transfering.  I don't know the details of his passing, but know he left at a young age.

So sad.  Knew him from a bunch of classes.  He was a good dude.

I don't know other than evidently he passed on the 6th of November.  I googled but didn't find anything but a couple of sentences about his funeral service.

I googled it too, no info. I spoke with him on twitter about 6 months ago, he was a banker in Utah. Nice guy and was easy to talk with. Very sad.
