What do you want for Christmas? (St. John's Basketball wishlist)

Maybe he won't want to play ball in the Mountain West

1. Phil Greene to be a more consistent scoring threat. He's scored in double figures in 50% of games this season which also means he hasn't scored in double figures for half of stj's games.
2. STJ is getting to the FT line 18 times a game. Get that up to 25.
3. Amir, Obeckpa, and Sampson have been great on offensive end rebound the ball. They need to have same hunger protecting their own glass.

Lol, no.   I've been a little disappointed (and I had relatively low expectations to start with) but I'm still excited to see this team in conference play.  But I'd really like to see this same team with another year under their belts, that could be a special season if Dangelo and Jakarr return.

Fair enough Moose.   Then I want to see improved defense in the 2nd half of the season.  Not schematically.
Man or zone I just want to see guys moving their feet and staying in front of their man.   We've had too many breakdowns against guys that are half as athletic as we are. 

The offense and quicker ball movement will come with time and familiarity I think.

2. Orlando eligible with an apology from the pond scum in Indianapolis.

3. One of a long line of STJ under-sized but gifted power forward alums to visit Chris Jones and teach him how to move bodies out of the way so Sampson, Obekpa, Garrett et al can use their athleticism to get to the rim.
