1.  Seton Hall
2.  Rutgers
3.  Stoney Brook
4.  St. John's

As sated by a New York Post article today.  Ha, when we play the first two of those teams, we'll show em whose # 4.  Bring em on.

Agree, and that way Stoney Brook can ascend to #1!  :)

Right now, its hard to argue that SHU (11 - 2) is not the #1 local team but I don't think they are better than we are at this point. By the time we play them, Branch will have firmly established himself and we will be a much different team offensively (hopefully). We are a much much more athletic team then they are and will have to use that to our advantage when we play them.

The one thing SHU does well that has been a problem for us is shoot three, we just don't defend it well at this point and they have at least 5 players that hit that shot consistently. They are #1 in the BE in 3pts shots made this year.

The only thing we do well on d is block shots. Staying with your man, and rebounding are simply about a lack of effort.

He seems to be doing exactly what they want him to too, shoot a very high percentage from 3.

I know Willard loves the kids and they are thrilled he is on the team.

Willard has done a nice job, despite some injuries. Emotionally he is polar opposite to Mike Rice. No practice monitors for KW!

Willard is just as crazy as the next guy but he learned from some of the best. I think the SHU program is in good hands. They just need to recruit a bit better.

At this point, they are going to be right there for the NCAA Tournament again this year. Any of the Catholic schools making the tournament is a good thing this year.

I think Willard has done a great job so far this season (albeit against weak competition).  I also think that they have the least talented team in the conference and will struggle every night that they aren't stroking the three.  I'd be pretty surprised if they are in the NCAA tournament conversation come March.

There is no "e" in Stony Brook.
