Im a happy with how we have played and its great we have a 3 point lead. What I am most impressed with is that we are out "toughing" one of the toughest teams in america. Keep it up guys

We're on pace to have 20 turnovers...

But it's OK, all should be forgiven, because they're only sophomores and this is only Lavins 3rd year here.
We shouldn't expect them to play good basketball yet.

Agree desco

*Freshman and sophmores. If you refuse to accept the correlation between inexperience and turnovers/stupid plays, I don't know what to tell you.

I didn't say underclassmen don't make mistakes.   They'll player cleaner with more experience.  they do deserve some extra slack.
But even the biggest homers should be able to acknowledge that double digit turnovers in the first half is unacceptable!

Boo, 212, etc..  There are a ton of fans on here who have rationale criticisms.  We're not expecting final fours immediately, we're not calling for Lavins head.   But there are certain aspects that should be better than they are.  For the players, it happens to be unacceptably bad defense and turnovers.   With coach, for a lot of us it all comes down to a point guard play and Phil Greene.

Stop treating our frustrations like its treason or the mumblings of crazy people.   The vast majority of posters aren't as extreme as you make them out to be.

First the good news. We hold the number #14 team in the country to 21 first half points.... Now the bad news, we only score 24.. Our offense is horrendous were 10 steps ahead defensively guys like Marco and Felix must play more

also, up 3 on the road and our 22 ppg shooting guard has 2 points.

I think Harrison is in for a big 2nd half.

Great first half. Cincy is clearly focusing on taking Harrison out of the game. Our defense and rebounding haven't looked better this year. I expect Cincy will start attacking the basket in the 2nd half. Pointer looks good today. Would love to win today!

Cronin won't let Harrison beat him.  We need to limit turnovers in the second half, continue to rebound, ands hope Sampson or someone else can get hot scoring.

It's nice to see offense coming from players not named Harrison, but we can't last a whole game with him not scoring.

“@jeffborzello: St. John's isn't going to be an easy out in Big East play. They have a ton of athletes and aren't afraid to attack.”
