Why the hell would Gift want to play now?

So you could bitch about it!

Because if Gift plays then he leaves after the year and we can recruit another freshman and continue to be the youngest team in America.

I agree it's stupid to let him play now as too much of the season has gone by. But, I'd rather have a top 150 freshman coming in for next year instead of one more year of gift.

Top 50, maybe.  But we all know how good rankings can be (Hello Dom)

We are behind in recruiting.  Not  sure why people don't realize that.  We can reach again in '13 but why?  Wait till 14 when there is more time.  Use the ship then.

How many BE teams can we hang with physically? I'm concerned most about that. Cinci doesn't have the interior presence that many other teams have in our conference. I am lost at how they can redshirt him, when on so many occasions he was what we needed. He wasn't great, but people make him out to be Dele Coker.

There were games against good teams last year that he won for us. This year, we would have had a much better chance against Murray State, UNC Asheville and San Fran.

So how was Cincy ranked 2nd in the COUNTRY in rebounding.

I don't think dancing is out of the questionthis year just yet, and there's nobody left on the board in '13 that would be equal to gift next year. I just think we play jones more, what in the world could he have done to warrant so many DNP's. He looked great in the beginning of the year. He had some bad rebounding games but who didn't? He's a freshman let him play thru it.

And actually has Greene even shot a free throw this year? There really is no excuse for kids to shoot this bad from the line.

Greene has attempted 12 free throws the whole year. Good for 6th on the team.

Yeah but a package deal would be getting the lesser guy to get the bigger guy.  Wood to get Kyle.  Marco to get Sanchez.  Felix to get Chris.

Point taken, but then fault lav for taking a guy with his 13th ship that now he's DNP'ing for who knows what. And for the record I think Felix was the best package if a package at all with regular minutes I think Felix would make a tremendous contribution.

Used to be back in the day that some players play sparingly if not at all some years and then play when they is upperclassmen.

And they is the players who are there to scrimmage the starters. Many of them are specialists like shooters.

Thats one of the reasons you take in transfers.

Most cant transfer out less they go outta D1. 

Hoop aint gonna transfer out. Same wit Jamal. Locked in for all intent and purpose.
