Great win that had my heart pounding.
The good.......
1. rebounding came alive
2. The kids played with intensity from start to finish
3. Great defense. The dopy announcers gave us little credit for our defense and kept saying that Cinci was having an off day.
4. While not a great offensive performance, was a great gut check game.
5. Harrison taking over the game and taking the game winning shot
The not so good.....
1. Green at the point at the end of the game made some poor decisions
2. Lavin going into the delay offense with 6 minutes to go almost cost us the game. Cinci was playing poorly, yet we slowed down the game and put them back in it.
The lucky.......
1. Harrison's prayer from the bleechers, bailed out Lavins stall offense and basically won the game.
2. Cinci player's miss on a wide open foul line jump shot with 5 seconds to go
All in all a great gut check win. Not the prettiest but it shows that these kids are capable of playing harder then they have been and rebounding better then they have shown.
