They were good guys. IMO that was their best attribute, and that's a lot.

It was a good team, not great, good coaching led them to the tournament. Unfortunately they were derailed by Kennedy's injury because we should have gotten a better seed in a better region (like a 4 seed in Tucson) All in all they put us back on the map and got recruits excited about St Johns again. It is up to this group and our staff to sustain success.

no doubt a fun team to watch in their senior year and a great bunch of kids.  But let's be honest, it was hard to watch them during their first three years.  If the current group stays 4 years, they will do special things.

If deangelo stays 4 years we will have some more great memories

If he stays 4 years he will most likely be St. John's all-time leading scorer when he's done.

would have a shot at the big east record I would presume. Of course who knows where will be playing and where the record will go.

Of course, the little asterisk next to all of this, would be the fact that there was no 3-point shot when Chris Mullin played here.  Would probably have had close to 3,000 points lifetime if there was one.
