Tickets for future games at the MSG
« on: January 07, 2013, 01:26:54 PM »
Does anyone have any promo codes for the G-Town, N.D. or UCONN games. The ticket office is absolutely no help. They have $75 tickets only. They blame MSG. It wasn't like this in the past, because I have organized dinner and a game for a dozen fraternity brothers in the past. Far be it for the ticket office to make going to the games at MSG a pleasant and affordable experience.

Why would ticket office give a discount?  They are trying to make money, no?

My guess is there will be 5-6k weds. night. There must be more fans like me that contact friends, family and alumni about going to games. Maybe I'm living in the past but see a MSG one-third full for a BE game against Rutgers hurts the program in so many ways. I know all the cliches about winning and attendance, but the ticket office can be a bit more proactive. With that said let's beat Rutgers, for us older fans there was actually an intense dislike going back to the '70. I'll be there with a number of my brothers.

There should be more than that.
What about those who are willing to spend money product unseen and give money to the athletic dept for tickets.  Giving out discounted seats like candy on Halloween is a swift kick in the face of those fans.  I pay for season tickets and I'm disgusted when I see heavily discounted seats.

Pay attention to the groupon type sites, earlier this year they had some ticket specials up on groupon or livingsocial, one of those.

It's tough to take a family of four to a game at those prices. Shoot, it's tough to go alone at that rate.

I'll just be going to games at Carnasecca.

If you're patient, you can get in at well under face. They are not worth what Garden asks. That goes for every every Garden event. Day of game, there are always empty seats on the floor, and in the 100s. Try the broker sites day of game. Ticket has no value after the game has started.

Here's one of the ones I was talking about...
$44 seats for $22, valid for the Rutgers, Georgetown, and Notre Dame games.

Just noticed this deal expired, but keep checking back on groupon or living social, they'll do it again I'm sure
