No doubt. Cain made things click but in the pantheon of STJ points he isnt up there. He had his limitation, a slow PG who couldnt hit a three and was awful his first 3 season and wudnt drafted.
Only player to sniff the League on that team was Shawnelle.
Don't disagree with any of that, but for whatever reason Cain's senior year might be the best one year of any point guard play that we have ever had.

But Coach Mahoney handled that team so well.
Evrybdy had they roles and played it to the fullest.
Shawnelle: Was suppose to be the star was a good low post scorer and rebounder.
Lamont Middleton/Mitch Foster: Just do the dirty work my brothers. Rebound, defend and set picks. Do it so well.
Fred Lyson/Sergio Luyk: Dont take a shot from 19' in and we all good.
Derek Brown: We gonna let you work yo natural talent and hopefully take over some games.
Lee Green/Carl Beckett/Rowan Barrett: Perimeter D and nuthin else, please.
