Notre Dame Game
« on: January 14, 2013, 03:41:22 PM »
Some comments from Lavin and several players.  Interesting to note Coach L. references need to play different lineups to plan for the long term. He knows prognosis is poor for this year IMO. CO references being helped by Sanchez in practice.

Notre Dame 80 Circle offense 56. Team is deflated and ND has an efficient offense.

wasju, you better file for copyright protection for "Circle Offense".  Don't be surprised to see local newspapers using it soon if Greene's minutes are not reduced.

I guess then we would call Green's part in the offense the "Circle Line" giving it a NY flair :)

Waiters will be running a "weave" in honor of team and an NCAA rep will detail their five year review process of Orlando Sanchez eligibility determination;

Braveheart starts at 8. Hope you can make it through the half.

We lose by 5. Which is the same number of blocks and fouls obekpa will have.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

They play 7 guys.  5 shoot the 3 better than our whole team pretty much.

 Calling the upset. We seem to pull 1 or 2 of these off a year.

I'm not sure how we can beat any good team by 10.  With 5 minutes left and the lead, Lavin pulls the plug on what has been working all game for the  "grind it out and hope for a chuck at the end of the shot clock to go in" offense.  I really hope you are right though.

I think we win tonight, I really do.

However it doesn't solve the problems as we could easily lose to DePaul Saturday

Bobby Knight doing game. He probably won't know any names, will reference Joe Lapchick a couple of times and will choke upon observing our "weave". One good outcome at least.

Also, Moose will have the sound off on the old flat screen!

 only announcers i care to listen to these days is the Rafftery, Bilas, McDonaugh team.  The best...by a lot.
