Notre Dame Game

Too many defensive mistakes though.  Man defense might not be the best to play all game either as all of Notre Dame's assists come off passing and not dribble penetration.  Lavin seems to want to start wit man defense to avoid a 3-point onslaught.  Need to pick our poison at this point, but game is close.  Our defenders need to communicate better though. 

I like how Harrison is letting the game come to him. If others don't get involved early and establish some sort of a threat, teams will key in on D'Angelo even more. The fact we are down 2 without Harrison taking a shot yet is a great sign...

Yea I do. And his drive which opened up a layup for branch. Lavin left him in long enough to make a play.

Notre dame has done a good job with their pick/ rolls, but you can see player's not communicating and chasing.  We really miss not having another big guy ala Sanchez or Gift in the lineup.  Notre dame is beatable for sure by us.  We have made Notre dame not shoot the three and it is making them uncomfortable.  We are hammering them on the perimeter which is likely why Lavin saving our "lone" big man Obekpa.

Is Bobby Knight drunk?  Sampson let Adkins have is way?   Adkins made a 180 spin against good D, jumped off the wrong leg, threw up a wrong-hand half hook prayer that BANKED in.    Knight in his coaching prime woulda benched the kid for that shot.

And Did Bobby even LOOK at the SJU roster?  He's called 3 differnt players the "big kid from St. Johns"....

My feed is terrible.  Picture is jumpy and keeps scrambling and losing audio.  Feels like I'm watching ESPN3
