Here's the thing, it's great that you're starting Branch, but he's gotta penetrate. This team doesn't have natural scorers all over. Just Dlo. I want to see Branch show me the crossover, and penetrate. Get in the lane. Make things happen. He's the key.

Hes already had more successful drives to the hoop in his 4 games as phil has had these two seasons.

Branch needs to be aggressive. If he isn't, we'll just keep throwing the ball around the perimeter to guys who can't shoot.

Greene has attempted 13 free throws all year. Yes 13. Maybe if they put a GPS in his uniform it would help him go North to South as opposed to in a circle.

Maybe that's what all the dribbling in circles is about. He's making the defender too dizzy to defend him, like how they spin you around before you try and pin the tail on the donkey.

agree- he has some skill. would rather Branch force shots then and attack.

You could debate playing a healthy Greene over Amir and Dom. But I cant see playing an injured Greene over them.

Didn't seem to be the shy type on Sat. Yes he needs to penetrate but if that fails at least he has a shot to fall back on. Harrison and Branch need to play 30 minutes each. That leaves 15 - 20 minutes for Greene. Sampson and Obekpa another 30 minutes each. Everyone else fills in as needed. The experiments should be over.

If Phil's healthy enough to play, I like the move.

His lack of mobility might hinder his ability to dribble in a circle. Might be only able to dribble in a semi circle

Hahaha...leave Phil alone. He will be much more effective playing off the ball. He will instantly become our best wing option as long as he is aggressive shooting the ball. My only concern will be our size.

Seriously, point is that team is getting nothing in the half court from the 3.  Most good teams are getting production from the three either behind the arc or penetration and mid range.  Despite their other positive attributes Dom and Amir don't offer either of those things.  Teams struggling to score at all in the half court.  Marco at the 3 offers nothing that can make defenses really think and open up opportunities for DLo.  It'll be interesting to see how this works out.  At least it's getting Phil a little closer to his natural position.
