Why is Obekpa in the game?

He grabbed the rebound on Depauls miss. Do you want to call a TO, stop clock to take him out?  on dead ball i agree.. take him out for Offense, back in for defense.  Lavin did that next dead ball.

I like lavin, but I just completely disagree with a lot of his tactics.

If not for Harrison, I don't know how many of these games we close out successfully.

It's not why is he in the game, it's just don't pass him the ball.

Which ones today?  I thought he coached a good game.  Players couldn't shoot for first 25 minutes.  We switched defenses nicely.  He didn't call a stall offense. the kids tighten up.  I'm sure he told them not to rush and take good shots...that isn't telling them to stall and panic. That's them..  Sorry, that's just the way I see it.

Tactics have been fine this game.  Good change of defenses in second half negated them.  It was brain-dead play and turnovers that lead to their comeback.

So they'll foul him off ball.

In that case yes.  Having him in the game at that point offensively is an automatic turnover or the kids hold have kept the ball out if his hands.  Good win but not pretty at the end.

Didn't seem like they were gonna do that or they'd have done it 20 seconds before. They waited for him to get the ball.

We win, we learn, and we move on.   I'll take it.

Progress can be frustrating, but we are getting better each time out.

How many games the Heat going to close out without Lebron?  How many games would uconn have closed out without Kembs walker on their NCAA champ run?  He's the best scorer in the league.  No doubt games are "influenced" by his play.

Like  constantly Putting the ball in pointers hands up top when we have three guards on the floor. How is jakarr still allowed to just shoot jumpers on every break?

Take it! Branch becoming a nice player, Dom continues to improve and CO manned the middle fine! Warts, yes! Progress, reasonable!

Tactics perhaps, game management, not at all.  It's not just strategies, it's being in control.
