SI.com has St. John's in a play-in game against OK State for a 12 seed.

I know it's beyond a longshot, but let's just say that this bracket is exactly how things turn out (I know it won't be, but indulge me here):
If we managed to beat OK St., I would like our chances against Minnesota. I think it's an advantage for the at-large team that wins the First Four game, going into their round of 64 game, because they already have an NCAA tournament win under their belts, and have shaken off the cobwebs (it doesn't apply for the 16 v. the 1, because the difference in talent is too much). Add to it the fact that, in this bracket, we wouldn't have to leave Dayton after the game, would make it even more of an advantage, for us or OK St.
Again, I'm realtivley confident in the fact that this bracket won't happen. I'm just making a general point about the first four games, especailly with Dayton as a second/third round site this year.
