So he was relaxed 7 times and rushed 23 times? Sweet shot? Some things to be worked out? That is like saying the Titanic had a slight iceberg issue. Once they figured out that problem they were good to go.

I think thats a pretty apt description of the Titanic's issues.

Seriously though, he misses a whole lot of shots, but his stroke just doesn't look to bad to me. A lot of the time its just a little tweak that can make a huge difference.

I commented last night that Obekpa's free throws are actually straight, and his form looks ok.  Everything is just long and hits the back of the rim.  He needs to work on putting a bit of an arc and softening the shot a bit.

It sure would be nice to get a little redemption against Georgetown.  They are gonna have to play better than they did last night.

For every player we've got this is the biggest game of their lives.

Great win when it was starting to look like everything was going away. Gettin a win with none of your scorers having good shooting nights is big, especially when your best player fouls out with 5+ to go.

Anyone else scream at the top of their lungs when Phil got the ball at the end of regulation with 10 seconds left under our own basket and started to walk the ball up? Ten seconds left!

Replay showed that time had expired when the last second foul on Jakarr was called.  Refs got it right.  Felt overall we had a lot of help from the Zebras last night.

Sir Dom goes STRONG to the hole on his dunk attempts.  It's a pleasure to watch.

Crowd looked and sounded large on the tube.  Seemed like a genuine college basketball environment.  Great job Redmen fans!

Yes, but is it reviewable/reversible when they already whistled the foul?  I didn't think so but maybe somebody could clarify.  A foul was clearly called.  I didn't think they could review and reverse their call Like that.

I guess they can review the timing on an end of game foul same as they can review it on an end of game score.  Or at least that's what they did.  You have a good point.  I'm not sure.

I think this W was bigger then people think We have allready lost to our share of cupcakes. Although Depaul is not a cupcake ,it was a home game  we should have won, which we NEEDED for our NCAA hopes.

All that matters is the W, but I think people are still cautiously optimistic. I think we need to continue to grow in order for this momentum to make a dent.

Let's play a solid competitive game v. GT and go from there. It's a tough matchup with their length, Porter and recent upward trend.

I know a lot of us got tired of the "youngest team" line, but coach has been very consistent since early last fall in his comments about this year - work in progress.
I don't think I've heard him say we're pretty good, or things are really starting to click, at any point this year.

Could be coach bs.   But he could be telling us the truth, this is a learning year, and he's looking for us to breakthrough next season.

I certainly am pleased by accomplishments to date, but still sense this is a transitional year. The upcoming games with GT, UConn (who I think we beat), Cuse and L'Ville will be an indication of where we are in our development. Fun year, for most part, in any event!

I love Harrison and while he hit some big shots in the game I think his head was not in the DePaul game.  Maybe it was my vantage point at the game.  He is going to need to be really focused for us to have a chance in our next few games.

DePaul was bullying him, and he let it get in head head because he wasn't getting the calls.  He can't do that and needs to focus on playing ball instead of the refs.  They won't always call it his way.  The refs were ridiculous in that game, but he needs to keep a head in the game.

Im with you, I think more so than any other game this year he was looking for his. He cheered like hell for his teammates once he fouled out on that BS foul call.

There was one timeout after he fouled out where the coaches were done speaking and Harrison had them huddled up and was giving a pep talk which I thought was really awesome.

Sir Dominator

Is there anyone still down on Sir Dom?

You have to like a guy who can shoot from 20, thread a pass for an easy basket, run a break, dunk, block shots, steal from a point guard and close a game out.

I thought overall we got the benefit of some truly horrible calls. That being said I thought the 5th foul was a pretty weak call.

We did, Branch hooked one of their guards when he was on offense, and they called the foul on Depaul. Refs are too damn old.

Far from one sided in our favor...McKinney could have put us in the Bonus by himself
