DePaul's defense is worse than ours, plus we are at home, and I think the team is overdue for an all-around good offensive game (see, e.g., the S. Car. game).

DePaul has allowed more than 90 points in each of their last 2 road games.  DePaul and St. John's are the top 2 in the Big East in possessions per game so if we can make baskets at the rate we have in the last few games then yeah we can easily reach the high 80's.

We are averaging 70.2 during our 4 game winning streak, which is a nice jump from the low 60's where we had been scoring. We scored 71 in the 1st game against Depaul. We win ugly. It is working, embrace it. Predicting 80 points is just silly. 88 is a pipe dream.
