Is JB our top recruiter?

I was very happy to See Justin Burrell in his St.johns attire at the Jordan Brand Classic game , I hope he was trying to snag some of those kids from the regional game that was undecided

JB has told me in the past that recruiting isnt his job.  he focuses on what he and his teammates do on the floor.  recruiting is the job of the coaches.

with that said, players sometimes make the best recruiters for their own school.

im not mad at the kid, his work ethic, demeanor, and no bs attitude is one of the few positives in this program...i was kiddin with that remark...actually idt that if he won big east player of the year he would have much impact on kids coming here...recruiting is the job of the head and assistant coaches

agreed, but a good word here and there wouldn't exactly be going way out of his way.....In 2006, ohio state's commit daequan cook was primarily responsible for recruiting oden, connelly, and lightly. not to stretch this beyond imagination, but if a simple call to a buddie that happens to play bb well can bring a semi-stud aboard, why not?
