Can't believe Marco didn't get more votes. We had a lot of "heros" tonight but how about the stones exhibited by Frenchy, in his first start after riding the pine for most of the year, by knocking down 3 corner shots at the start and then helping to finish them off with some FT.

He looked good but in the 2nd half did he attempt any shots.  Not his fault really but still.

I've said it so many times.  Both players and staff get complacent when we gets leads.  We were up 15 with Amir on the line and I said to person I was with we need to make this 15 turn to 19.  Well Amir missed both FT's and the lead soon went bye bye.

The fact that DLO has one vote makes me wonder if you all watched the game...How many threes did he aggressively close out on?  He energizes the team.  When Dlo went in after the long break, he still struggled, it wasn't until Dom came in that things got rolling again....That alley oop pass from dom to Christian Jones energized the team.  He was also our primary ball handler.

The board hates Dee.  You didn't know that.  He takes too many shots.  Bad shots.  Oh and he doesn't smile enough.

As to smiling--you should have seen him before the game in warmups.  Someone asked and he stopped to pose for pictures with little kids.  He was very pleasant and upbeat--great school representative.  Maybe he did to much in the desporation days and people think it should continue or maybe his hand really is a problem as you watch him during games rubbing it.

I love it.  He is the kind of player you want on your team and you don't want to play against.  When thug #2 Evans threw him to the ground he was gonna bite his head off.

*FYI thug number 1 was the center throwing elbows around like candy on Halloween.

I think most fans, especially New York ones, love you when you're doing great and hate you when you're doing poorly.

I met his grandmother in Charleston. She said he is a different person on the court than he is when he is not competing. I believe her. In actuality, Lavin recruited a good group of kids both as basketball players and people.

True.  But he is notorious target for our fans even when he was dropping 36 on Nova and averaging 22 ppg.

Key point in the game was Chris O's 2 Free Throws and his foul line jumper.

4 point at a critical point from a guy you would not expect it from.

Really?  Oh well, I must be focused on the Lavin and Greene haters too much, i guess?  ;)

BTW- Anyone else been having issues with the site? Seems to be getting kicked out a lot...server issues? Maybe someone is trying to tell me something?

Maybe its my shock that a guy who has put up numbers and carried us can be subject to such criticism mostly based on the fact he plays like a ball of fire on the court and doesnt smile.

Yes Dave is aware of some issues and was looking into it last night.

I with you Moose.  I love the kid. I didn't realize that there were so many posters that didn't like him. Maybe it's the tattoos and the dirty looks?

I'd want him in my foxhole 7 days a weeks.

Harrison is a beast, a warrior, a team player, fearless, and we would have a losing record without him. He obviously came from a difficult background, and has transitioned to NY with no major issues. Lavin likes him, and that is good enough for me. In every press conference I have seen, he has handled himself with dignity. People who don't like them are acting out their own issues. Is he perect? No. Who is. But he is one heck of a ball player----and he is only a sophmore.

Went  with Sampson. He's been great. Our most consistent offensive threat in the BE.   Harrison still can throw down the dagger at the end despite struggles. That's a good trait to have.

I thought everyone contributed something.  Amir was off.

Amir was holding his ribs about at the fifteen munute mark.  After the break he came out, took one jumper, grabbed his side and sat down on the bench.  Later in the second half Lavin went over and asked him how he was.  He played down the stretch after JaKarr fouled out and seemed to be OK.  Just wondering what the status is with him.

Thanks. I rarely listen to the play by play unless its Rafftery, Bilas team, so I had no idea Amir got banged up.  He definitely wasn't his normal, aggressive self.  Makes sense now.  Hopefully he can fight through it.
