BTW-Mike Waters who covers Syracuse and Big East basketball for the Syracuse Post-Standard had a Q & A online today.  Here is how he responded to a Southerland inquiry:

I know no one has a crystal ball to say what the outcome of Southerland's hearing will be, but do you know exactly when it is supposed to take place, and when the outcome is likely to be announced? Then, prognostication on what the likelihood is that he'll play Sunday?

 Mike Waters: 84,

When? Friday. Not sure what time.

Outcome? Not sure.

Prognostication? I wouldn't dare venture a guess. Not enough information to work with.

“@PSBasketball: A look at the panel that will hear Syracuse senior James Southerland's appeal on Friday. http://t.co/E1p3W0B6

There's no chance that he loses his appeal.  None.  It is amazing that they waited this long to put back on the court.

Is it me or do they always get somebody back right before we play them? Certainly feels that way.

On paper I want to play cuse, even away. Right now they have 7 scholarship players and eventhough they are very talented, anything can happen because of injuries and foul trouble.  They play all zone which is totally our weakness but still 7 guys is still difficult to win with.
