And in the first 4 out category
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Incredibly generous. We have 3 good wins, 3 terrible losses, and a lot of work to do.

They live and die by the 3. Last night, they lived. Wins over the Zags, Butler, Ohio State and Indiana are as impressive as anyone in the nation. I think they need to get to 20 wins, and win one n the first round of their conference tourney.

Team really needs a signature win and a winning conf record to offset Ashville and USF.
Parking only for NYCHA permit holders.

Are cuse and l'ville our only chances at signature wins?  Or would Pitt Quette or ND suffice?  I think if we loose our next two will have to beat two of those later 3 to have a shot, and I think we can.

ND sweep would be a plus, but obviously getting win at Cuse or Louisville trumps that.

Well have chances for wins against solid teams.  I think right now 5 of 7 teams left are ranked.  Going forward, we will probably only be favored in 1 or 2 of the 7 remaining games we have left.  Opportunity is there, and a winning conference record is necessary.  11-7 i think is a GT, 10-8 may have work left to do, it all depends though on who we beat and what other teams on the bubble do.

Like I say, we gotta do more than just take care of business.
Gotta reach for the stars if you wanna dance.

I think dropping the next two then winning three of the last five, plus a big east tournament win against a bottom feeder, is a completely realistic outcome.  That's 19 wins and squarely on the bubble.  Choz is right - a signature win is needed.

The Notre Dame could be very important,  they are starting to fall apart a bit and that could essentially be a play in game for the NCAA tourney.

We have 5 opportunities left to get quality wins in the Regular Season.  Cuse, Ville, Pitt, ND and Marquette. Even getting 2 of those will help our resume. Plus the BE tourny. I think 10-8 in conference and we are on bubble, needing two wins prob in BE and 11-7 would get us in.  The key with that as well is we have to beat USF and Prov. Last year, SHU killed themselves losing to below teams at end of year.  I see us in same predicament as them last year.  We have no room for error with any bad loses the rest of the way.

If we don't dance and the reason is blowing that 17 point lead against Ashville,  I'll puke.
