Jakar never met a deep shot he didn't like.

Announcer took Dlo to task re attitude. Time for the Dlo can do no wrong crowd to leap to his defense.

How the hell does Triche get open by 50 feet

That was a pathetic half of basketball right there. Doesn't look like a team hungry for a tournament bid.

Why we running a 2-3 vs Cuse?  The team that practically invented it?  They set up an easy 3 for Triche because they know exactly how this defense works inside and out.  If we are going to zone, it should be one of our other matchup zones, not the 2-3.  We asked for it with that last possession.

St Johns has actually weathered the initial Storm.  Cuse has looked sloppy.  Unfortunately the D'Lo is being bad D'Lo and nobody can score against the zone.
Phil can't get passed his man to initiate the half-circle offense.  When Amir plays bad, it's really bad.

Can't stay in the zone if we want any chance of winning

Because we played a 2-3 zone in that possession and they know exactly what to do against it.

Offensive fouls are hurting us, but are free throw shooting is saving us from having this game being blown wide open.

Phil Greene has been SO GOD DAMN BAD. Absolutely clueless dribbling the ball. They are in a fog...stupid passes, stupid dribbling, not going inside.

How is this team so ill prepared to play the zone?

Marco is lost out there...can't play defense and missed four 3 pointers, 3 from the exact same spot.

Obekpa isn't doing a thing...Cuse is answering every shot we make...beyond frustrating. No bball IQ.

Because that's our defense. We don't guard the 3. You can't pull that crap against SU. They are eating us alive. I don't know much about Hines, but damn, he has to know that zone sucks against this team. Stop f'n playing it.

But Obekpa is on the NBA radar. He could be a 1st round pick. Does it matter that he's useless against Syracuse?

We have had 6 open threes by our two best shooters. If 1/3 of them go in we have a ball game.

It was a blown coverage by Jones. He was suppose to rotate up, instead he went to the corner. This is why he a Marco havent played much, they still are not there yet defensively.
