This game is really important. I think this game is more winnable than Marquette. We win this one, and we are on the right side of the bubble going into the Providence game. I'm still waiting for the game where we play good-great ball for an entire game and not just in spurts, it's bound to happen eventually, let's hope it's tomorrow.

This is a good point, if we beat Pitt, we are in. Then we have a game we SHOULD win against PC. We win that, and we move inside even more. This Pitt game is key.

Season ticket holders get lunch with Bernie Madoff;

“@Kieran_Lynch: Students attending Sunday's game against No. 20 Pittsburgh will receive free t-shirts and banners. #stjbb”

Season ticket holders can pay a fortune for some eggs and orange juice provided they are that stupid.

“@BrandonTierney: For over a decade now, St. John's fans have voiced a desire to elevate the program's profile. Well, tomorrow is your chance...”

“@BrandonTierney: NCAA Bubble, at best arena in the world, noon tip, vs. Top 20 team; young, exciting team w/high profile coach. No excuses not to fill it up.”

We really, really, really need Dom and CO to stay out of foul trouble to have any chance at winning this game. That means no cheapies 30 feet from the hoop for CO and no " I'm pissed that I just got stripped so I'm going to chase the guy downcourt and hammer him for no reason" fouls from Dom.

I dont see us winning this game in the high 50's or even low 60's. Gonna have to score 65+ to win this game IMHO. Where thats coming from, I have no idea.
We need Harrison to show he can help us win in more then one way. He can keep our bigs out of trouble by doubling down on Adams and turning him over. From there it's off to the races. I would like to see Dom goin hard to rim, maybe getting some calls. I figure coach Steve knows how to take advantage of getting some home court calls, and if they miss one look for that tech early. Gotta win this one getting to the rim. This maybe most pumped for a game this board been all season. Lets hope team feeling it.

there will be 8000 max there tomorrow and the sad thing is that half the regular posters on this board will not be there. And those that are not there  will be the most critical of the team and coach---and of the crowd! Funny how that works.

11,000+ showed for an 11 am start time in early January against gtown?

Only 8,000 are gonna show for a noon Sunday game in late February against Pitt with a lot riding on it?

There aren't too many tickets available on line.  I think it's gonna be a good crowd.

That means nearly 8,000 stj fans alone. Nobody follows Pitt?

I think crowd will be about 15k.  SJU fans will come and Pitt will bring a few thousand like Georgetown did.  Will be a SJU crowd though.

Maybe a bit less, but I think it will be our best crowd of the season.  Maybe an overshoot, but don't know.  Economy could be hurtin Pitt fans.

15k??????
