Probably can't until July 1

"I look at that conference, the Catholic 7 and you add Xavier, Creighton and Butler, wow that's a pretty darn good conference," Brown said.
"I think that's a great conference in itself."

sounds like larry "the Revolving Door" is at it again.  Larry seems to have a propensity towards ADHD when it comes to coaching in one spot.  He sounds perfect for a color man on the C7+3 TV games next year.

He's right.  If  Providence plays half as well as it should and McDermott returns to Creighton, there won't be a better league out there.  There will be two poor teams (SH and Depaul) and eight teams that will be competing for NCAA bids.  This will be a 6-7 bid conference if McDermott returns.

Really good conference but ACC will have us covered.

Certainly stronger at the top but arguably weaker in the middle and at the bottom.

Fox beefing up their talent.

Her and Erin Andrews?

Who is going to watch the games?

It's an added bonus.  One step away from Jessica Alba calling the NASCAR races... ;)

I keep wondering when will there be a new Big East Conference website, to replace the old outdated one. I suppose it will be in June or July.

Assume July 1 when the new conference starts officially.

Providence is an NIT team next year.

Guys get a grip your conference is dictated by both depth and your top teams.

There is no way the new Big East is better or in the same class as the ACC or Big 10.  Not even close.

The A-10 got 5 teams in the NCAAs last year.  Nice but hardly indicative of being an elite conference.  Elite conferences are both multi bid AND high seeded.  Meaning 1, 2, 3 type seeds.

You're right Fordham, but I think we can be the third best conference behind those two.  I don't think Pitt will be very good next year, and Louisville not in ACC yet.

Pitt will be fine.  The Big 12 will be good led by Kansas, SEC will have UK and Florida and no one in new conference can match up with them right now.  And yeah Louisvile staying in the AAC another year means the AAC with UCONN, Memphis, Temple, Cincy and Ville makes that conference comparable to new Big East.
