All just assumptions. Here's another one. Harrison acted poorly after his horrible game against Pitt and crossed the line for the last time. The media savvy coach then decided to take this last and likely final action that he knew would draw unfavorable attention to the program he is building.

We can start off with just staffs within the Big East. Who would you take over St. John's? Its not about other staffs being better or worse, they don't matter to us. Its about who Coach Lavin has surrounded himself with and how they work as a group. All of the guys we have know plenty about basketball and bring different things to the table and they all probably work hard. All of that still doesn't make them a good staff. You are saying staff is weak. There must be some standard you are holding this to. Unless you think all colleges have weak staffs.

Baldi just PM'd me that Harrison and Hines actually both pulled knives on each other. The rest of the team and coaching staff formed a circle around them snapping their fingers like in West Side Story. It was quite a scene.

So we are now running with Baldi rumors as fact? Nice. Becuase by my coumt Norm would still be coaching, Stephenson, Tuck Bryant, Syl and Kevin Durant would be playing for SJU, Lavin would be in Cali and Iona would be ranked number 1 in the Nation.
just think where we'd be now had we hired Dana Altman 3 yrs ago
As I said from the beginning, there is no way the staff would torpedo their season by suspending D'lo on a whim. The kid must've been a serious pain for them to deal with and it probably got old fast.I hope D'lo gets his act together because I really do believe in his talent. Whether it's at St. John's or another school remains to be seen, but it'd be a shame to see him waste it.

Then it was crow feathers and the Game ball award vs Duke etc, etc. Same guy sat the whole game in our masterful effort vs Fordham. Frankly I don't trust the decisions this staff makes on a lot of levels. I don't have time to list them but the real fans who saw Nuri and missed GG and Sanchez this year should know what I'm saying.
