Ha! Weiss probably doesn't.

Honestly Dick owes JaKarr and SJU an apology.  Have no idea what would make him tweet something so inaccurate.

It had no basis in fact and there were plenty of local writers at the ceremony including my guess is his colleague Roger Rubin.  No one mentioned the idea that SJU was somehow snubbing the BE by doing the ceremony on campus.  Why on Earth would Dick think he was being original by bringing something up that no one else who covered it thought to bring up?

Ya gotta give credit to jakarr, besides being a great athlete, he doesn't skip classes. The one I have with him is early morning and he is always there. I think a lot of high profile student athletes kinda mail it in.

This is why I ultimately believe Lavin is the guy.  This year has not gone quite as expected although many of their struggles were due to youth.

But his goal is to make the NCAA's EVERY year.  Period.

Been a long time since we had a coach who had those expectations.
