We are due for some luck.

We've been due for some luck since 1992. What makes you think this is the week?

What hung, we had them on ropes.  My post above was supposed to read bigs not bugs. This thing writes what it wants.

Yes it was a game that we could've had. Coulda, shoulda, woulda. My point was they've improved, we've regressed.

Don't have a good feeling. For 2 seasons Greene has basically been a 35% shooter. He is coming off a game where he shot 60%. He already has a tremendous amount of irrational confidence and coming off a good game.... Law of averages being applied he should shoot 20% next game. 4-20.
Nova 75 SJU 59

Don't have a good feeling. Since he came back, Branch has been a 16% shooter, 4 for 25. He is coming off a game where he shot an above recent average for him 25%.  He already has a tremendous amount of irrational confidence and coming off another bad shooting game.... Law of averages being applied he should shoot 12% next game. 1-8.

Mrs Greene I do not love Branch, I like him but do not love him. To get back at me for riding your son for two years you would have to make fun of Harrison or now Pointer by default. Or you can go old school and make fun of Larry Wright. Of course I would then have to bring up Avery Patterson in retaliation. You could go real old school and make fun of Walter Berry, but than I would have to bring up the Marco Baldi, Tha Kid, Marillac, Carmine body shot incident at the BEB get together :)

Obekpa ices game with foul shot.-Quote

You do realize that if this scenerio were to actually play out Lavin should be fired, right?

I really thought that this was going to come true last game. Tied game, Obekpa fouled while grabbing a rebound.

RA has a lower shooting percentage than Greene and Nova scores at a lower percentage than St John's.  They have half the blocks, less rebounds per game and turn the ball over 27% more on a per game average.

St John's should beat them at MSG.

Can't do. I think a lot of the anti-Greene sentiment on the boards coincided with and was influenced by the pro-Branch backup quarterback movement.  He's the right comparison to make.

It's certainly your prerogative to knock whomever you want. I just find it amusing and somewhat hypocritical that you slam one guard for being shooting challenged yet never say a word about the other guard who's currently shooting way worse?

Either way.  It's all worth it to get reminded of the fond memories of the body shot incident.

Our top two scorers will combine for 46 points. That is my super-specific prediction for the game.

And maybe Phil is back from the dead, and here to stay. If he can get to the rim some and gets their bigs to foul, we home. Dom follows him to the hole, some put backs likely to be there.

I think we way faster, especially with Felix in the game. If Marco gets pulled, more then likely not because he missed a shot. Gotta keep their bigs from getting put backs. We 4 pt dogs and I think we can run them silly. Well, compete anyway. Go Storm.

Well considering they did about as much as we ever have historically in the past decade or so almost always having a winner, that shouldn't shock you. SJ and Nova are polar opposites in the past decade. Nova has been a force year after year including a Final Four and Sweet 16 run. SJ has 1 NCAA berth and lost immediately. 2 programs in 2 different directions and recent history. If we win this game, the Nova fans will just say they didn't have anything to play for. Nova is in no matter what.

I think if you have 13 losses, you could be the play in game.
