That charging call was HORRIBLE. The player wasn't even stationary! Virginia certainly getting some home cooking from the refs in this one.

Our issue isn't our coaching, it's that we simply can't shoot.  If we could shoot a lick we'd be fine in this one.

Shooting would help, but not our only problem. Team doesn't move the ball.

We move the ball.  We just have nobody at the end of our passing sequences to shoot which is why we struggle for any good looks.

You honestly think we move the ball well? I've never seen a team pass the ball around more nonchalantly than we do.

That was not a charge on Garrett.

St. John's needs to go small. Obekpa is lost on offense and UVA isn't a penetrating team so he isn't that effective on defense.

Down 11 at half. Dom & JaKarr both have 3 fouls.

31% shooting, Greene, our "shooting" guard 2/8. Sad and embarrassing. Play all the walkons Lavin.

Our passing isn't our problem in the least.  Our problem is nobody to score.  We get the ball where it needs to be.  Usually our guy has to bail himself out and do something drastic because we lack shooters/scorers.  Today we are really turning the ball over.  Something we don't normally do.  Our offense is bad because our offensive players are bad.  It's as simple as that.  Our remedy is getting Harrison back next year and hopefully adding Rysheed.  Both can score.  Both would start on this team easily and fix much of our problems.  D'Lo is twice as good a scorer as anybody we have out there right now.  Go land Rysheed.

No , we don't.   Do we shoot well? Of course not. But we don't move the ball well at all.   That's obvious.    We have a 5 second delay after every pass., where our guys stop and 'think'.   That gives defenses a chance to recover.
How can you ever get a defense out of position if you don't pass quickly

With that said, we can get back in this game if we don't turn it over in the 2nd half like we have been.

3 things.  D'Lo, Sanchez, Rysheed...  We really need a pg like Rysheed to penetrate defenses.

Agree on Sanchez, not getting Jordan IMO and D'Lo iffy. Severe just went for 68 in last two games, but I guess we have alternatives in mind. Hopefully.

A defense like this that packs it in is rarely going to get caught off guard, even if we passed the ball at 100mph.  Kids still need to make plays.  We started the game passing and moving the ball real well.  It was mostly for naught against their packed-in D.    We can still claw back, but these refs are hosing us tremendously here.  Not sure we can keep UVA off the line long enough.  I'm expecting more phantom fouls and more clanks on our end on offense.

One things for sure, id Dlo doesn't return we need to add someone to our backcourt.

Not to beat a dead horse, but we have too many so called "athletes" and too few cerebral basketball players who can shoot just a little bit.
