Norvelle Pelle to enter NBA draft

Didn't he take some bad advice and go to Rise?

The advice was fine. But we shouldn't have sent all three kids to the same place, especially one that would give them all A's and make it look shady.

As I understand it Rise was the only place to send them for those classes that summer and I assume Chiles knew the school from his days at Drexel.

The kids didn't do the work and all got A's.

Rise isn't the greatest place in the world but if all 3 kids did their own work and look like they actually studied they would have been fine

What's the value of pulling out?   Can he do a Glenn Rice Jr - play a season in the D-leauge, then re-enter the draft NEXT year?   Is that more advantageous than going undrafted this year, and being a complete free agent?

 I don't know. Although I have zero inside info, It always seemed to me that basketball never really interested him the way it should for such a high ceiling kid.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  The impression I have is that his passions lie elsewhere than the basketball court.

  Wasn't he a talented artist or something along those lines?

The kid does not like to play basketball.  He does it for fun.  The thought of doing it for a living freaks him out.

Expected of Pelle-he lives in Bizzaro World. Don't we have a satellite campus in Rome-maybe he can verbal there now and renege later.

Right.  Let's trace any issues that Pelle has back to a kid not doing his job at a summer program.  That is logical, especially when other programs aren't a revolving door of guys who are 23 years old and have played at 7 colleges previously.
