Peoplke said GG was going to be a beast on the boards too when he came in. If this kid is really closer to 6'6, the last thing this program needs in an undersized power forward.

I'm intrigued by this kid but Blair was apples to oranges.  Blair was a wide body.

Charles Minlend was an excellent rebounder at only 6'5" and he wasn't really a wide body.  His boards were all positioning.  He also had offensive game.

Dennis Rodman wasn't big.

Look at the best rebounders in our recent history, Harkless and DJ, neither did it by being the biggest guys. They just had know-how.

Better example is the kid from Colorado who just declared today, Andre Roberson -  6'6/6'7 about 200-210.   7.8 rebs as a frosh, 11.1 as a soph, 11.2 this year as a junior.

I have no problem with an undersized power forward if he plays big; rebounds, takes up space, and can't be moved off the block.   And, if we're asking him to play power forward. 

When we ask forwards like Gift, Moe, Jakarr this year (when Obekpa wasn't in), and now Sanchez, to play center; that's a problem. 

The recruiting links (thanks Cr) don't offer a lot on Delgado yet.
Besides rebounding, what do we know about what he can do and can't do on a basketball court?

I have no problem with a smaller PF if he attacks the glass with tenacity.  Delgado looks like a player from the limited tape.  You can win with a stretch 4:  Freeman was 6'7 for UConn, Warrick was 6'8 for Syracuse, Behanen was 6'6 for Louisville, and the list goes on and on.

Interesting kid who seems to be progressing nicely;
