Well according to his client list (http://www.lavorpostell.com/clients) his business wasn't exactly booming.

He doesn't know what he's in for.  It's apparent in his quotes.  It's no joke.  Brainwashing and all, and it isn't a kind place for people who don't buy in.  It's the Army's way now for Lavor, for better or for worse.

My initial thought was that he was running from lack of funds and/or mounting debt, but I readily admit my first thought is not based on any information whatsoever.
