From ESPN Insider-
Shortly after the 2013 season ended, Kansas guard Anrio Adams revealed he would not return to Kansas for his sophomore year. Adams' decision was not surprising: a trio of guards headlined by Conner Frankamp will arrive in Lawrence this summer, and potential minutes for Adams, who did not see the floor often his first season, would be slim. Adams briefly publicly flirted with returning to KU (we imagine the coaching staff's reception to this overture was presumably cold) and Adams has since updated a transfer list.
Adams' initial list included Washington, Oregon, and UCLA, but according to Scout's Andrew Payne, Adams will visit San Diego State as well as four other schools. This group could reportedly include St. John's, Boise State, Utah, and Gonzaga. While we don't doubt Adams is interested in those programs, we have to assume one of those schools -- St. John's -- will not be a realistic option for the offensively-explosive guard. The departure of Amir Garrett means SJU is currently at the scholarship limit for next season, and it would make little sense for the Johnnies to add another player (unless another SJU player plans to transfer, but that scenario is far-fetched). The other three could indeed be possibilities for Adams, but we wonder the likelihood of Gonzaga. The Zags are intensely pursuing Josh Perkins and Namon Wright, and while Kevin Pangos and Gary Bell will be seniors when Adams, Wright, or Perkins would take the court, the possible lack of playing time would not be intriguing for a transfer like Adams.
