My takeaway:

- Branch!!!!  Vitally important to the success of this team
- Hooper > Bourgault for minutes (29 v. 2)
- Sanchez > GG and Jones for minutes (24 v. 7.5,
- 2-3 Zone...Yessssss
- 13 team assists without Jordan and Greene and on just 10 days of practice

That was actually exciting reading that whole thread. Much more fun to win

billy goodwin gave the pre-game speech.  he says this team is special and they made him feel special as well.  he says lavin took his shirt off and gave it to him to wear.

Me too! Billy was very underrated and if he was on the 85 final 4 team, we win it all!  He had the game to break down G'town defense.. And, he would have gotten the ball inside to Berry when G'town played the box and 1 against Mullin or, pulled up for a 10 foot jumper.. Plus, Wingate would have  had to play dfense on Billy and, not be on Mullin.

Wonder what jakarr's number were like. I didn't see much tweeting about him

Led the team in boards with 8 (Obekpa, Sanchez, Dom with 7 a piece).  Had a beautiful rainbow pass to Dom on the break...really impressive vision and touch that led to a slam by Dom.  Not a great scoring night.

He looks like our best rebounder again...beast on the boards for his weight.

I'd bet that he won't be our best rebounder this year. I'd actually be surprised if he was in the top 2.
