I think that is a clear indication that they are probably being redshirted.

What are the chances that Lavin doesn't start Sampson against Wisconsin?  Lavin not putting him back in the 2nd half after an early yanking of him might be telling.    Pointer or Hooper to start over him?  Can't be Obekpa because he's coming off suspension himself.

We were up 40, no point in putting him in.

Well I think Lavin and the staff got their attention after the SFS game.

Regardless of the ineptitudes of Humbug State, I was impressed by our passing this game and unselfish play.  Also good to see Max Hooper hit his shots and as always, Dom have a never ending motor.  Now on to a real game.  Looking forward to it.

I believe Cal is actually projected in the upper half of the PAC-12 this year fwiw.  That said, Humboldt wasn't very good, but this game was more about us executing, spacing, moving the ball and defending.  We did all those things.  We look much more prepared to face Wisconsin than we did a few days ago.

Nice psychological boost for sure, whatever the competition. Would love to launch season beating scrappy Badgers. Tough, but certainly quite possible.

Sir'Dom played a ton of PG the second half, and he really looked pretty good doing so.  Split the defense, moved the ball and passed well.  He certainly is that point-forward type and getting better at it.  He was truly having fun out there and pplaying his arse off.  Gotta love guys like Dom..
