Why not put Hooper and Marco in when inbounding with 20 seconds left up 6. I'd rather see them at the line than Sampson even though they haven't played all game

Good win. PG4 was huge. Our free throw shooting is vastly improved from last year. Great defense in the second half. Maybe we're starting to figure out the zone afer all?

Dom had 6 Assists and 0 TOs according to the ESPN box score.  Obekpa had 6 pts, 6 rebs, and 7 blocks.

Quality win.

Great move by coach to try zone. It was a good zone. Active, covered a lot of ground and we had the big fella in the back.  Offensively, we got into a nice rhythm with Phil and Dee drawing and kicking, making the extra pass to set up open jumpers. That is how we need to play. A jump shot as a result of a post-up kick out or a penetration and kick is a good shot. Want to see more of Jakarr , Sanchez and a little Gift on the block.

Hopefully we found something tonight.

Overall, besides first quarter, very good game vs a by good team.  Loved, loved the way we played down the stretch.  We really played great offense, despite those that don't think we run plays.  We really do.  We also changed to zone which confused the hell out of them, and was a grest move by Lavin.

Overall, Bucknell was a great shooting team, that was extremely well coached.  Lavin IMHO, did a superior job adjusting in his game-coaching changes, including lineups and we pulled it out.  I wouldn't want to play Bucknell again.  This was as good of a test as we can get three games in,  I actually think they are certainly a tourney team.

Kudos to Phil Greene. Kid won the game for us.  Philly was amazing.  Hit every big shot when it mattered.  Despite d'Angelo not hitting threes, he has played well elsewhere.  Jakarr, Sanchez, Obekpa and Pointer all came through. IMO, Branch continues to disappoint.  Jordan played within himself, but I still expect more...

Branch hit a couple of jumpers in the first half but his turnover right before the half was inexcuseable. Just can't have that anymore.

 Tale of Two Halves...

We played pretty poorly in the first half.  Total turnaround after halftime.  Defense was much, much better.

 Pleased with the result...

Phil Greene. Player of the game. Without his spark not sure we win this one.

I really appreciate that the Refs didn't kill the flow of the game with fouls.  We got a few hand checks called on us but not too many.  Bucknell hardly had any until they started intentionally foyling at the end of the game.

Seemed like after every timeout we closed the score in the first half.  Then a few minutes later, they'd open it back up.  Game of mini streaks in the first.  We played solid D in the second half.  Dlo had good looks but was unusually cold.  Phil was POG.  Who saw that coming?

We have to be the best shot blocking team in the country.  CO, Sanchez, Jakarr and Dom are all good to excellent shot blockers.

Good test and we withstood the challenge.  The kind of game from which you learn what you're made of.

I had to listen on radio, so can't really speak to that, but I do much prefer uninterrupted play over policing the game. I'm more concerned about the not going to the basket side of the issue

They really packed it inside and gave us open looks on the outside.  We just couldn't get them to drop.  If Dlo had one of his normal games, we would have won by 12-15 pts.

Bucknell couldn't handle the zone... once we switched to the zone, their point guard play went down the tubes.
