Each coach has his own style, but I was looking for Lavin to give the refs an earful when we started to gets crewed on the foul calls.   He didn't, and they kept calling a lopsided game.

Will we have the same crew today?

I don't think I've ever seen the same exact crew in back to back games in a tournament

Go figure this might be the same crew as last night.  Edsall definitely reffed our game last night.

I just checked the box score, 2 of 3 were the same.  Cassel also worked our game last night.
We did a better job of not settling for jumpers (in the second half anyway).

Saw something on Twitter last night where an official worked a game in Atlantis and then worked in LA the next day or something.  The person was tweeting how the officials are run ragged.

Penn St. was smarter than we were.

Bad luck the game wasn't televised.  The flagrant on Crimson was initially called just a common foul by the nearest official.   Then after some delay,  the more senior official came from across the court to signal for a flagrant 2.

Usually in that scenario they go to the video at the table to take a look.  If they had I think they would have determined that it looked worse in real speed than it actually was and left it as no flagrant.

What the heck are the schedulers thinking?  I thought conference heads are at least aware of their officials' schedules these days.  It's not hard to check on - should be approved before they can work their schedule, even if a late fill-in situation.

Princeton comes from 12 back in 2ed  half and beats Penn St. in OT on the road. Penn St. not a middle of the pack Big 10 team and was a bad loss.

Agree it's a bad loss, but Princeton is actually pretty good this year.

Penn State goes to 0 and 3 in Big Ten, losing to Minnesota at home. Doesn't look they are the solid team some posters thought.

It is shaping up that way.
Not trying to put lipstick on a pig but interesting that there are 5 unbeaten teams left in D1 and we lost to 2 of them.

Good point. Wisconsin is really trouncing folks and looks like a final four or eight team to this point. Syracuse's start has surprised me. Never thought Ennis would be as great a player as he has shown. The guy plays like a senior.
