The Upset

Who will play the part of Fordham, Northeastern or UNC Asheville?

I voted for Fordham, because I think a bad start can spiral out of control against a motivated team with scorers. Maybe something happened this week, and our guys are motivated? Let's hope so.

I figure the 'NONE' option is Dartmouth.

No one....NCAA's here we come.....but do we play Dartmouth?  I think it's Columbia...... Coach Chiles and my Alma Mater and they are not  beating St' John's this year they'd need Jim McMillan, Heywood Dotsen, Eliot Wolf, Ricky Free, Tweety Byrd, and Dave Newmark.

I'm curious, what makes you think that?   Anything we've done on the court so far?  Or just your gut-feeling?

I would like us to beat Syracuse, but it's a different animal all together when you say you think we will.

 there should be an " all of the above " choice as well..

just gut. i think the adrenaline, packed house, etc, will get us off to a good start.  if hooper can extend the defense, should be a good close game.  we're due.

I think we hold serve and beat all the teams we are "supposed" to.  We will likely lose to Cuse unless we put together a full game, but I think our slip-up was the PSU game, and that's not a horrible loss.

Funny, but Penn State plays in the Big Ten. An upset would be a loss to a team from the, oh IDK, the CAA.

I say none. I think we improved a lot during barclays. Not saying we played perfectly or even good at times Penn. St. isnt a bad team.  I think we are better. Frazier made plays down the stretch. Things could have worked out better. Saturday started slow but finished great. I think we come to play against Fordham and we surprise people with an upset  vs Syracuse.  The Syracuse game kid of reminds me of the Georgetown game from a couple of years ago. Gut check time. Lets see how Lavin and this team responds.
