If you don't think this team practices and prepares, talk to somebody who has seen the practices.  Simply not the case from what I've heard.

Who'd you here from? I just heard it from Lavin.

Keys to game...share the ball like we did vs. Fordham, Obekpa and Pointer need to stay out of foul trouble...

Obekpa should pull a matador when Syracuse tries to lead with their body on drives to the hoop

last Saturday the way they played was like poetry in motion, not a coincidence.

Last Saturday they played Fordham. Fordham is awful, not a coincidence.

Awful...right go back to criticizing SJU fans for rooting against SJU when Roberts was the coach.

Fordham could beat 3-4 BE teams right now.  No doubt.  And that is with a depleted roster.  And few if any BE teams could beat them by 46 points, and yes that is the point.

Most hyped game since Duke in 99?

No. 2011 had a few that were more hyped than this. The Duke game, Pitt game, Cuse game in the Big East Tourney where DJ got hurt and the NCAA tourney game all come to mind.

This years will be as exciting (if not more) as that season was, despite what Foad and Linda say.

It's not sold out. I remember talking to two stupid old men who bought fake tickets outside the garden and were escorted out by security. I'd love to get to the point where we are good enough that the dirty gangsters print fake tickets. That's Yankee/Giant territory.

We will know we are back when our results start appearing on the back of the DN and NY Post like they were in the good old days...

Fordham could beat 3-4 BE teams right now.

You need a timeout.   Go sit in the corner and think about the nonsense you're spewing.

Are you capable of being objective about anything?
We played great, we probably would beat any team  if we play like that.   But Fordham is not a good team.   That is in no way a criticism of SJU.  But The talent at FU isn't great to begin with, their team isn't at full strength , and they gave up shortly after halftime against us.
Poor talent + injuries + lack of effort = a bad basketball team.

Right now, Fordham has a good chance to beat both seton hall and depaul.

Vegas has us at +4 for those that care. I think that's a bit low. Could be a trap though

And don't respond to any more of Desco's posts. LOL

I don't think so. I think as bad as they've been, DePaul is a little better than they were last year, and they have talent. They have an awful coach, but I think they can shoot as well as Fordham, and they can match them inside easily and probably outplay them.

If Seton Hall is down both Edwin and Gibbs, then yes, I could see Fordham's backcourt giving them trouble, but still don't think Fordham would win.

They are nowhere near playing at a BE level. Let's first see if they can play at an A10 level before we start handing over respect like they've done something to earn it. It's still one of the worst programs in the history of basketball.

That's encouraging.

If it is a trap that bodes well for us. Going by past history and this year you would have to think Syracuse is an early Christmas present. Can't wait until high noon.

Havent been this stoked for an SJU game in a long time. Trying to keep the expectations in check, but I really hope some of the smart play attacking the zone against Fordham continues today. Have a good feeling about JaKarr today. LETS GO REDMEN.
