I see so many guys sign up to this website only to lurk around silently.

Chime in! Would love to see more guy's posting and talking some Red Storm sports.

You should allow insults and cursing. That will get people posting.

IMO, it's not the number of posters, but the quality of posts and the civility among the posters (for the most part)  that makes JJ's boards great.

In other words, we're tired of listening to the same drivel from the same posters!    :2funny:

OK I'm in.  Pretty happy with the start.  Penn St. game bothered me- mainly because its the only game I have been able to attend so far and brought my 4 yr old for her first game.  She was so disappointed they lost after cheering her heart out all game.  Had to explain to her that is what being a St. John's fan is all about!  And not to curse as much as dad.

Thanks and definitely agree with you. I just think there is more quality out there and want to encourage some really loyal fans to share in that experience.

In an effort for better quality Dave, grammar police "guy's" should have been "guys." lol

I love this site.  I can be sure to get some skinny here in the DMV on the recruiting from the usuals, and some unusuals like liny have made me laugh beyond the "price" of a membership. #priceless  If those comments are still stored in a "safe" place, or can still be recovered, I will want them someday when I need a "pick-me-up!"  Thx for what you do with this site Dave and moderators.

It took me awhile to start posting on a regular basis. 1. I do like to read other opinions. 2. I am not an expert in strategy, players, coaching, etc...and I was nervous making comments on the board. After watching the games and reading the boards, I had confidence in posting more often. I also give credit to the regular posters for not being snobs and mocking posters who are not "experts" in all things college basketball.

As always there can be annoying posts, posters (occasionally)  and arguments (I am defiantly guilty of this...go Redmen...), but this is a site that I check as often as the news and it is something that I have really enjoyed over the last few years I do not belong to any other boards and I hardly use FB).

Hopefully the the has turned a corner and we start winning more often which will bring more fans to the team and the site, because both deserve support for their outstanding work! Great job Dave! We are!!! St. John's!

I randomly heard about JJ from the Daily news, when  the DN mentioned  that JJ broke the news about the argument that DJ Kennedy had after a game with a fan.

Great site Dave. I am a member of quite a few sports forums and this one is by far the best. Very insightful posters for the most part. It has definitely increased my St. John's fanhood being a member here.

I'd post more but I'm in Indonesia until May, so I really don't have much input on things, but this is a great source for news/rundowns of games.

So you felt unsure of your opinions and were hesitant to post but after reading the posts on this sight you felt confident enough to start posting. Glad we could all help!  ;D  :)

That means a lot coming from a guy who brags about having an attention span of two sentences.
