I will gladly take being only down 4 on the road with McDermott playing out of his mind.

Being down by just 4 is unreal.

It feels like we should be down 20. McDerrmot does not miss ever.

I actually think he helps a lot on offense even if he's not scoring. A guy has to be right on him at all times. It doesn't allow the defense to collapse the paint like they usually do.

down 4 is not bad. d'angelo has to get going.

15 players have scored in the game so far.

Two players have more than 4 points. McDermott with 20, and Obekpa with 6 lol

If someone had said before the game that Sheed would have picked up two fouls before the first media TO and McD would go for 20 in the first half we'd all think we'd be down at least 15. 4 is a miracle

Being down 4 is not bad at all.  If McDermott can miss a few shots in the 2nd half we have a good chance to steal one on the road.

Thought the team had a good defensive effort. They are locking up everyone not named McDermott.

Need to tire these guys out and keep hitting the paint offensively.

I'm as big a lavin critic as there is, but he hasn't done anything that's "killing us" in this game. Getting the starters rest all at once right before the TV time out with McDermott on the bench was a good move. If McDermott was nt from another planet we'd be up. The D intensity is actually really good.
U don't send out a checking line down 10 on the road. We are only down 4. I am happy but kind of shocked. We easily could be down 20. So far they have McDermott . They may be smart. But we are much better athletes. Game isn't over . We have a good chance

Nice job, there offense was slot to start but they were able to keep it close at the half...let's make the adjustment and where them down with our depth!

Just got to catch the last 10 minutes of the half.  Jordan getting in early foul trouble is a trend that needs to stop.. It forces Greene to get too many minutes and kills offensive flow.

On one possession I saw 5 different STJ players guarding McDermott.  Not sure I've seen that before.  Every person on the team was guarding him at one point.. He didn't end up scoring..

Obekpa looks active and good, particularly offensively..

That was a big shot Phil hit at end of the half..   We can win this game...

Ok, Rysheed picked up two quick  fouls. Harrison and Branch started the game. They can't be expected to be out there for the entire half. We went a few minutes without either on the court. Lavin wasn't "killing us"

We rarely get to foul line. Difference in game thus far is 6/8 FTs for Creighton v. 1/2 for us. we just throw up to many jumpers. Take it to hoop.

McDermott is much better then I thought. Never saw him before . Best college player I have seen in a long time

He's almost like a more polished, less athletic version of what Melo was in college.
Am I crazy in thinking that?

This.

I just hope we don't let up the intensity later in the game. I see some of their snipers hitting some big shots with like 4 or 5 minutes left like a broken record / every other close game this year.
