It I crazy that it took 16 years to beat Seton Hall away but we won in Nova in 11.

Here's to the ghosts of the 80s (retro jerseys), 90s (beat Seton Hall), 2011 team (last tournament team), and to creating current history (what a streak!) and SJU (officially now since the 2000s) wins 76-75 by God's Gift hitting the winning free throw  as a tribute to Chris O.

If God's gift is in at the end of the game down by 1 or in a tie game I will have a heart attack.

The same heart attack with O on the line? I would argue the Seton Hall game was much bigger then the Nova game.

Stay positive!

It's not "getting lucky" if you pay for her.   ;D

The last time we beat them Hardy was absolutely tremendous. Think he had 33 points and many of them were clutch baskets down the stretch. We will need to have a big game from our back court and most importantly win the foul trouble game.

I think Jordan steps up the game in front of the hometown crowd..!!

I think Nova is incredibly overrated..

On the one hand, this is a team we lost to by 7 a month ago and we are playing much better basketball now.
On the other, it's much easier for us when we're at MSG.    If this was a home game I'd be a lot more confident.   The guys will have to dig deep for this one, and stick to disciplined D and good ball-movement, even when things aren't going their way.

Sitting through the loss to Villanova was one of the most frustrating experiences of the season to me.  They had an awful day from the field and we should have won the game. Unfortunately Villanova benefited from going to the foul line 40 times. A good part of that was due to a combination of some awful switches by us on defense which left our defenders exposed against players they should not have otherwise been guarding. However I also thought that part of it was due to some poor officiating and Jay Wright's constant badgering of the refs.

Like many on the board, I think that the main reason our team defense has improved has been the fact that we have stopped switching on every ball screen. Our ball screen defense still needs to improve though and this game should be a challenge for that. If we can keep them off of the free throw line and off of the offensive glass, I think we can win.
