People hoping to play Xavier remind me of Jodie Foster in Accused right before she got the pinball machine treatment.

Would you rather face Xavier without Stainbrook or a healthy Marquette for the 2nd time in two weeks?  Even Providence, with their short bench, may be a tougher matchup.  I'm not ripping Xavier.  They are a very good team.  I just think their entire offensive gameplan changes without Stainbrook.
Marquette or Prov would be better.
Kid sat a big chunk of game last time and they still killed us.
Don't like Xavier matchup at all.
Shouldn't really be a revelation as they are plus 22 on us

Agreed.  If you asked Nova fans if they wanted to face Creighton again this season, I doubt any rational fan would say "sure, because it's hard to beat us 3 times".

Xavier is not set for third, contrary to what I said before.  Providence could get third if Xavier loses to Nova Thursday, and Providence wins at Creighton on Saturday night.

Everything else I said re: our seeding applies, though.

@BrendanPrunty: Greg McDermott says that he expects 3-4,000 Creighton fans in NYC this week for the Big East Tournament.

Another beaut, have to love this;

@ECoastBias: "We knew coming into the year that it was going to be very challenging - playing against WIS, Cuse, even playing GT & Penn State." - Lavin

@KevinMcNamara33: Matt Stainbrook out for Xavier for Big East quarterfinals and likely semifinals. Big loss.

Another BIG question.

Who draws better this week: A10 @Barclays vs BE @MSG?

If that's really a question than we are all in deep trouble.

Those Virginia/DC A-10 schools will travel.  I still think the BE Tourney is the best show in town this week but it will be interesting to see how it draws.

It's not even a debate. They aren't even selling upper level tickets to that tournament.

Question for the board, when was the last time we have won more than 1 game in the BE tourney? Im trying to remember the furthest ive seen them go in the last ten or so years. I remember a game against BC when Craig Smith was a freshmen that I think was a few games in but cant remember. I went home 'sick' from school in sixth grade to watch it.

Is that a legit question?  On Stub Hub, you can pay half for a full slate of A ten games

A-10 tourney was a ghost town last year. Like a women's out of conference game empty.
