Billy Garrett Jr had a solid freshman campaign and has a case for the award.

The only thing I have an issue with is the comparison of weekly recognitions.  A lot of the weekly ROY awards BG got were early and of course against non-conference opponents.

Many of them quite frankly really bad opponents.  So BG gets 25 points against East WHO CARES St and Rysheed gets 13 pts and 5 assists in a close loss to Syracuse, my guess is BG will get the award that week.  But who really had the tougher or even better week?
