I've read all of these as possibilities.

We need 2 more wins.

Whether that second win comes against Nova/Butler/Seton Hall it should get us in, if it's Nova then were safe from the play-in.

We don't get in unless we win two games and one of them is against Nova.    The rest of the bubble teams aren't going to lose in the first rounds of their conference tournaments.   So add at least 1 win to all of their totals as well.

Howbout this one:  Win 2, regardless if it's against Nova; however, if we win round 2 against Butler/Seton Hall but then face GEORGETOWN in the title, we may not be able to afford a loss to another bubble team.  Make sense? (and I am dead serious about this)

I dont see us making it too the finals and losing. If we win two then we will win the whole thing. Either we win the whole thing or we win one IMO.

Our "depth" in terms of lots of athletes (since I dont know how deep we necessarily are with talent) certainly will not hurt in a tournament like this.  Though I disagree that we win 2 we win 3.  Creighton and Gtown would both be very formidable opponents with differing motivation to win.

Not too insightful, but cool to see USA today run a picture of our guys in their Bubble team article.

No matter what happens, we're not going to be in the first four play in games.  We'll either be in the regular field or not.

What makes you say that?

I always see a lot of teams from super no name conferences and not many from top major conferences in these first four.

You do know there's two 16 seed first 4 games and 2 at large first 4 games every year right

No. I didn't know how they selected them and wasn't 100% sure the fate of the winners.  Do you mean that 4 of the teams play to become a 16 seed and the other 4 teams get put where?  Does it render my statement wrong?

Yes, the worst 4 no-name conference winners play in a pair of games and the winners are 16 seeds. The other two games are the bottom 4 at large teams that play to be either an 11, 12, 13 or 14 whichever the committee thinks they belong. Those 4 teams can come from any conference and usually consist of teams from major conferences and top mid major conferences like that A-10 and mountain west

Thanks go.  Reading this forum can be so educational.  I guess I usually only watch the game featuring the worst 4 no-name conference winners.
