I guess I don't consider the preseason nit a 2nd tier tourny but that is not a first tire lineup. Not as bad as the barcal tournament but not great.

I still think we owe the ZAGs for 2011 anyway. Nice to play them again.

So do I.  Pre-season NIT and then following year Maui, they are playing in the better exempt tourney's.

Combine that with playing Syracuse next year, schedule is looking solid so far.

Unrelated, but scheduling rumor;

@AdamZagoria: Per @SammyAlbano Duke & St. John's will play in Jan at MSG. #sjubb 's Mark Fratto says "Nothing has been finalized at this time."

Minnesota and Gonzaga are both projected to be NCAA teams this coming year.  Georgia was a high seeded NIT team and should compete at worst for the NIT and push for the NCAA's.

We know our expectations for SJU.  Then throw in a road trip to Syracuse and now Duke (probably will be pre-season no. 1 or close to it) at MSG.

Guys this is shaping up to be a really good schedule especially at MSG (NIT and now Duke).

Duke preseason number 1? They lost their two best players.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

The backcourt returns Cook and Sulaimon, while bringing in Tyus Jones, the #4 recruit.  Up front they have Jefferson and Plumlee returning (solid but not spectacular) and the #1 recruit in Jahlil Okafor.  Also bringing in the #17 recuit in SF Justise Winslow.
They will be loaded again, and likely a preseason top 5 IMO.

Seth Davis has them pre-season no. 1 without Parker.

With him they would have been hands down no. 1.

Quinn/Sauroman;) -  55 mpg; 21.5 ppg; 42% fg; 38.5% 3fg; 79% FT; 4.5 rpg; 6.75 apg; 2.5 ATO; 2 spg.

RyLo - 59 mpg; 27 ppg; 39% fg; 34% 3fg; 79% FT; 8 rpg; 4.9 apg; 1.3 ATO; 2.2 spg.

RyLo will both score more and share it more efficiently next season. Edge to RyLo...

They packed in 1,300 people for the doubleheader today featuring LIU, Stony, St Joe's & WKU.

Who's idea was that?!
