And of course the regular season D2 was due to the screw up by the NIT but lets not let the facts get in the way of a good whine.
I have December 28th circled on my calendar: finally the revenge match up versus Tulane I've been waiting for lo these many years.

I thought a D1 playing a D2 has got to be an exhibition no matter how and when it's scheduled?

I'm going to have to adjust my win prediction....this schedule is pretty brutal. The bottom of the league is going to be much better...no easy outs. I think Butler is going to be way better than anyone on this board thinks. The only weak spot for them will be PG. Bringing back Roosevelt Jones, who instantly becomes one of the top players in the confernce is huge for them.

Can someone explain How this schedule is brutal? Butler, seton hall, providence, depaul, creighton, all twice. They don't suck but that is not brutal. Georgetown and Nova are good but not great.

It isn't brutal. It's a tough league schedule. That's all. In order for it to be brutal, at least 3 of those teams would need to be ranked. Oh, we can make it brutal, but that's another story.

If you're 20-11 with the D2 win the info the committee get's says 19-11 not 20-11. It doesn't count for the selection committee's purposes.
